A few years ago, If you'd asked me what I thought about a company uploading a TV commercial to YouTube, I would have told you that it was a stupid idea. Now I'm singing a bit of a different tune. I don't think every TV commercial needs to be uploaded to YouTube, but the right kind of one makes for amazing shareable content- the type that people love to watch again and again and pass on to their friends.
