While I was living in Australia last year, I heard about this charity movement called Movember. While I regret that I only partially participated in it then, this year I plan on going all-out.

It’s a great cause, it’s fun, and how else are you ever going to know what you look like with a moustache?

As Ed Lee wrote, “If you’d like to help raise money to go towards researching the identification, treatment and rehabilitation from prostate cancer, there are a number of very easy things you can do”

Find out more by following the blog that they’ve set up here, or go to the site to register to take part in the charity.

I haven’t registered yet because I’m waiting to see if any of my friends or coworkers want to get in on a Mo Team with me, but when I’m official I’ll let you know. **

But speaking of being official…I officially challenge Buzz Canuck to a Moustache competition for Movember.***

-Parker

*Note: artists rendering, actual moustache may vary

** Also, this whole thing reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Homer starts going crazy and hears keeps repeating the phrase “Mo…Mo…Mo…Mo…Mo…Mo..” because Mo steals the recipe for The Flaming Homer. (Secret Ingredient: Krusty brand cough syrup).

***Terms to be decided…you in, Sean?

What’s the deal with this website?
You're reading BlogCampaigning. We write about public relations, social media, video games, marketing and pretty much whatever we feel is important. We've been around since August, 2006

Jens "Schredd" Schroeder has been around since the beginning, and he mostly writes about video games.

Heather Morrison is our newest recruit, and she also blogs about life in the big city at Toronto Uncovered.

All of the content on this site is cleaned up by Adam Gorley, our resident copy-editor. He does a hell of a job, and he also writes a few posts for us now and then. Not a lot of people know this, but he is also a soul music DJ who goes by the name "Night Danger."

Parker Mason is the self-described Editor-in-Chief of BlogCampaigning and runs the site with an iron fist. He's also a pretty great guy - you should meet him sometime.

Espen Skoland started this website a few years ago so that he could get extra marks for his thesis, but he's pretty much given up on contributing. Still, we often refer to him as The Legendary Founder. He might be lazy, but he left us with a legacy.
