Oh Big Brother, Where Art Thou?

Three pretty interesting pieces of news today:

1.) News breaks that a certain brand of security cameras have been hacked, and that their feeds can be publicly accessed on the web.

2.) Researchers reveal that Path, that mobile-only social network with the slick UI, uploads your entire address book to its servers.

3.) io9 pontificates on the what the value of data would be from the use of ultra-light eye-trackers installed on your computer.

The future is here, friends.

better half clicked an ad and it promptly installed one of the toughest viruses I know of. These people completely got past my Avast free protection. That's kind of alarming because it has worked very well up to now. Have you got any suggestions?:

Many people I know that run cost-free antivirus use AVG even though I really believe Avast is usually a far better cost-free software. I wonder the reason AVG has such a massive following. What are your opinions relating to the finest no cost anti-spyware or antivirus application?

Jens "Schredd" Schroeder has been around since the beginning, and he mostly writes about video games.

Heather Morrison is our newest recruit, and she also blogs about life in the big city at Toronto Uncovered.

All of the content on this site is cleaned up by Adam Gorley, our resident copy-editor. He does a hell of a job, and he also writes a few posts for us now and then. Not a lot of people know this, but he is also a soul music DJ who goes by the name "Night Danger."

Parker Mason is the self-described Editor-in-Chief of BlogCampaigning and runs the site with an iron fist. He's also a pretty great guy - you should meet him sometime.

Espen Skoland started this website a few years ago so that he could get extra marks for his thesis, but he's pretty much given up on contributing. Still, we often refer to him as The Legendary Founder. He might be lazy, but he left us with a legacy.
