Who wants my job?

I’m going to be changing positions at CNW Group and that opens up my job as Communications Coordinator. I’ve been in that position for just over a year and enjoyed myself the entire time. Not only did I get to work on a lot of neat projects, but I also got to attend some great events (the mesh conference, Canadian New Media Awards, the CPRS National conference in Edmonton and so on) and I met a ton of great people (if you’re reading this, you’re probably one of them). Since I’ll still be in the same department, you’ll also get to work with me.

It is a great job, and would really suit someone who has an interest in doing A LOT of writing. Knowing how to write a news release would be a plus, as would being social media-savvy.

Have a look at the posting on Monster.ca (the reason the job description doesn’t say anything about needing to look good in a suit is because I told my boss that no one would be able to replace me in that same capacity).

Feel free to get in touch with me if you’ve got any questions.
